Working with Double-Entry Transactions
Some financial moves require two linked entries to stay accurate. Paying a bill from a bank account, for example, calls for one Balance Diminished entry and one Expense entry of the same amount. Transferring funds between accounts involves a Balance Diminished on the source and a Balance Added on the destination. Salary deposited directly into an account needs an Income entry followed by a Balance Added. These paired transactions keep every record balanced and reflect real-world financial movements.
Reviewing, Editing, and Protecting Your Data
